Start capture β Chrome asks what to share. Pick the Chrome tab that's playing music (this one, if you use the embed below) and tick βAlso share tab audioβ. No tick = silence. macOS Chrome can only share a tab's audio; on Windows βEntire screenβ shares all system audio. Spotify has no audio API β tab capture is the only way a web page can hear it.
Connect MIDI β plug the MicroFreak in over USB, click Connect, pick its port + channel.
Arm output β until you arm, the tracker just displays what it hears. Armed, every detected note streams to the synth. Jam over the top.
Full song needs Spotify Premium; others hear a 30s preview. Any other tab playing music works too β just capture that tab.

π Musicality
Gate keeps silence from spraying notes (open at threshold, close 6 dB lower). Scale snap pins wobbly pitch to the song's key. Smoothing trades a frame or two of latency for stability.
